Join us as we celebrate local children’s entertainer, Francie Dillon at Sacramento’s Fairytale Town, November 2, 5:30 to 8:30. Francie is an award winning Sacramento entertainer, and has brought great joy and inspirational energy to children and adults for more than 20 years.
As a writer, recorder and performer, her stories and songs have earned her national acclaim. In Sacramento she is the voice of Fairytale Town and her talents are well known, especially among our local families.
Early in 2011, Francie began to notice some difficult physical changes. Since then she has experienced a health journey that is still unfolding. Her doctors continue to work to resolve the changes but so far have not been entirely successful. Her journey was recently written about in The Sacramento Bee and can be read at the following link: http://www.sacbee.com/2012/09/25/4851539/top-local-childrens-entertainer.html#
When friends and family began to find out about the new challenges Francie faces, a celebration was planned to support and acknowledge the the 20 years of contributions this local artist has made, especially to our Sacramento community.
Join us on Friday, November 2 from 5:30 until 8:30 for an evening to celebrate Francie and the difference she has made in lives, both locally and nationally. The evening will feature Sacramento food trucks, children’s entertainment and the music of The Jazz Report and Mumbo Gumbo. Sponsorships and donations are greatly appreciated.
